Enviornmentally Responsible Cleaning Products


The ManageMen (OS1) Program has been a pioneer in benchmarking and installing best environmental practices since 1992. As pioneers in cleaning we have adopted specific products with the following designations:

  • Green Seal (GS) - Environmentally friendly products earn the GS Certification

All of the daily use cleaning chemicals in the (OS1) Program have earned the Green Seal logo or are EPA registered disinfectants.

The Green Seal certification is awarded to products that have a minimal impact on building occupants and the outdoor environment while still delivering a high performance. Green Seal certification is one of a number of programs that provide responsible solutions for our customers.

To earn certification from Green Seal for general purpose cleaners under the GS-37, GS-41(hand cleaners) and GS-42 standard, the (OS1) approved chemicals and their manufacturing practices must meet Green Seal's standards and demonstrate performance through rigorous evaluation and testing.

Green Seal conducts an evaluation of selected products noting the major environmental impacts in each life-cycle stage including resource extraction, production, distribution use and eventual disposal or recycling. The evaluation considers energy, resource use and emissions to air, water and land as well as other environmental and health impacts.

Under the PortionPac brand, the following daily use (OS1) specified products currently bear the following enviornmentally conscious designations:

  • MopPac Lite® 1802 (GS-37)
  • ScrubPac® 102 (GS-37)
  • Germicidal Detergent 264N (EPA Registered Disinfectant)

Under the ProTeam brand the following (OS1) specified product currently bares the CRI Green Label:

  • Super CoachVac®

Responsible Cleaning
