Cleaning Industry Trainer's Guild appoints new President


Bobby Moddrell was elected President of the Cleaning Industry Trainers Guild during the recent (OS1) Certified Coach training program at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Bobby was elected President following the Coach Certification graduation ceremony. He follows Jim Motyka of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in this position.

Upon his election, Bobby responded "I am very honored and quite excited about this opportunity. I very much look forward to working more closely with all of my fellow (OS1) users, trainers and leadership. I am fortunate to have the time to pursue these types of interests and plan to devote myself to the Trainer's Guild in every way possible. Jim and Owen are a very tough act to follow and I am very pleased that they will continue their involvement as we all work together to forge ahead."

Paul Condie, President of the (OS1) Users Group congratulated Bobby, "I want to extend my appreciation to you for accepting the position of President of the Cleaning Industry Trainers Guild. Jim Motyka and Owen Graves have done a tremendous job of getting this all organization off the ground and running, your experience will lead us into the future." Condie praised Bobby's election as "a step forwarf for the Cleaning Industry Trainer's Guild."

"We're honred that Bobby was selected and agree that his enthusiasm and leadership were not only the reasonhe was selected, but that these traits will serve the Guild well in the coming year", said Sally Moore, Director of Custodial Services at The University of Texas at Austin. "Thanks for your regcognition of Bobby as a leader wihin the CITG organization. We're looking forward to the coming year."

Jim Motyka, out-going President of the Guild wrote, "I want to thank you for your most positive response to the request to become the next President of the Trainer's Guild and I would like to acknowledge Sally Moore for her support of your decision. I am a phone call or email away with any questions you may have as time goes on. We all look forward to working with you and supporting you in teh continuation of spreading the good word about (OS1) and the users."

John Walker noted upon the election of Bobby, " This feldgling organization plays an important role in the cleaning industry. At this point it needs ad enthusiastic leader to continue the progress achieved under the leadership of Jm Motyka and Owen Graves. Thanks for accepting the responisbility of taking the CITG to the next level."

Bobby will serve in this positition during the 2008-2009 training year. The University of Texas at Austin was the recipient of the prestigious Best Cleaning Industry Training Program at the recent Cleaning Industry Awards Banquest in Durango, Colorado. Bobby is the Manager of Training and Development in the University of Texas award winning program.
