(OS1) Field Report: First (OS1) Carpet Audit Performed at Clean-Tech

(OS1) Auditors John Downey and Tim Poskin conducted the first comprehensive (OS1) Carpet Care Audit on November 7th, 2008. The audit was the Clean-Tech Company's program utilized at The Boeing Company's facilities in St. Louis.
Clean-Tech management Tim Chance, and senior management Yates Sanders and Jonathon Campbell were present for the audit. (OS1) Carpet Surveys were filled out correctly and contained all pertinent data. "Beyond Compliance" was in all areas and filled out correctly including training logs, MSDS Written Programs and who is responsible for the MSDS program at Clean-Tech.
The Carpet Specialists performed very well. The Steamin Deamons were being used regularly, were well maintained, and filters were very clean. The ProTeam SuperCoach Vacs had clean filters and were properly dated. All required Scout chemicals were on hand. The Carpet Specialists knew were the MSDS is located.
All of the Carpet and Utility Specialists have attended an (OS1) Carpet Care Boot Camp. Appropriate Clean-Tech personnel attended Janitor University, the (OS1) Carpet Care Workshop, (OS1) Expert Trainer and (OS1) Coach classes in preparation for the audit.
The (OS1) Auditors suggested to Boeing and Clean-Tech that more emphasis should be given to "strategic" cleaning in the future. This will involve indentifying those areas that become soiled first and foremost (e.g., entrances in and adjacent to food service areas) and clean them more often using the (OS1) Project Carpet Cleaning Process.
Our compliments to The Clean-Tech Company for a job well done!
